HOW WE HANDLE THIS

Data Handling, Security and Your Account Rights

Concrete practices sit behind every policy claim we make. Here is how we actually operate across the six areas that matter most to your account.

Data Collection Scope

We collect only what is required for account operation: name, contact details, payment identifiers for UPI or Paytm, and session activity logs. No additional profiling data is gathered without your explicit consent via a clear opt-in prompt.

Cookie Practice

Our cookie policy distinguishes strictly necessary cookies from analytics and preference cookies. You may accept or decline non-essential cookies at any point through the cookie settings panel accessible from the site footer.

Account Security

Account access is protected by password hashing and optional two-factor authentication. Any change to your registered email, mobile number or payment method triggers a verification step before the update is applied to your account.

Data Retention Period

Transaction and account records are retained for the period required by applicable financial regulations in the jurisdiction where your account is held. After the mandatory period, data is deleted or anonymised on a rolling schedule.

Who to Contact

Our designated data contact handles all formal requests including access, correction, erasure and portability. Reach them directly by email or through a Help Centre ticket marked as a data rights request for fastest routing.

Requesting Changes to Your Data

You may request correction or deletion of your personal data at any time. Requests are processed within seven business days. If a deletion request conflicts with a legal retention obligation, we will explain the specific reason in writing.

Common Questions About Your Legal Position

These questions address the legal and data topics that come up most often from account holders in India. Each answer reflects our actual policy rather than a paraphrased summary.

Access depends entirely on the laws applicable in your specific region. Where local law permits, you may create and use an account. We recommend checking your regional regulations before registering, as availability is not uniform across all Indian states.

Registration captures your name, email address, mobile number and a verification identifier. If you add a UPI or Paytm payment method, the tokenised reference for that method is stored — never raw account credentials or full card numbers.

Submit a data access request through the Help Centre ticket system or by emailing the policy team with your account identifier. We will compile and deliver your data package in a structured format within seven business days of receiving the request.

Yes. A deletion request can be submitted at any time. Where no legal retention obligation applies, data is erased within seven business days. If specific records must be kept under financial law, we will notify you in writing with the relevant reason.

Disputes are handled under the governing law specified in the Terms of Use applicable to your account region. Our policy team attempts resolution first; if that fails, the Terms outline the formal escalation process, including the applicable jurisdiction for legal proceedings.

Transaction data shared with PhonePe, UPI or Paytm is limited to what those payment processors require to complete and verify the transfer. We do not share this data with advertisers, analytics third parties, or any other commercial partners.

Log in and navigate to account settings to update standard details. Changes to core identity fields — registered email or mobile number — require a verification step for security. If you cannot complete verification yourself, contact the policy team directly for assisted correction.
